The best BBQ in Tokyo

A visit to a Yakiniku and steak restaurant in Ebisu is a must if your in Tokyo. Just look at how happy these chefs at Ebisu Yakiniku Ginseng (one of the many restaurants in the area) look! The meat comes out in smoking bowl or cylinder filled with dry ice and they cook it for you right then and there. Most of the Yakiniku restaurants in the area have really chic interiors and the freshest meat and vegetables your money can buy!

The Wood Show

Paul Smith hosted an exhibition of the work of British artist Richard Woods at Paul Smith SPACE, Tokyo. The exhibition showcased a new logo floor – logo 57, 5 off cut inlay prints plus 4 sculptured logo prints and a green lamp. Although not part of the exhibition we thought the white ghetto blaster with the matching cassette tapes in front of the shop were pretty cool. The last shot is of Sir Paul himself trying on a tattoo stocking at the opening. To read more or to buy a limited edition print CLICK HERE.

Second Cousins reunion

They haven't done anything since their classic RUSH mix CD on Turntable Lab's Money Studies label (maybe it's because it was so good it would be quite difficult to top) but tonight you can catch a rare Second Cousins live reunion in NYC.

Tell us about the accessories finds you chose to share with us and where you got them. When I vintage shop I generally look for accessories. SHOES and JEWELRY. They just don't make shoes like they used to and the jewelry you can find is unmatched to contemporary pieces. It almost feels as if I'm wearing a piece of history and I love that there is probably no other like it in the world. I found the white rhinestone star earrings at a no-name vintage boutique off the Pacific coast highway in route to San Fran, both pairs of shoes at the Fairfax flea market in Los Angeles, and the fabulous sequined blue cocktail lounge dress and wing earrings at the Pasadena swap meet in Los Angeles. I chose to share these because I'm obsessed. Especially with vintage shoes - I CAN'T GET ENOUGH !!! and I always get compliments and people asking where I got them.
